Lottery CEO – Nigeria
Job description
Our client requires a CEO to lead the start-up of a new mobile lottery company in Lagos, Nigeria. The prospective candidate will need to be a dynamic and self-motivated individual with a track record of leading successful start-ups
Responsibilities:
• Reports to the Board of Directors and will be responsible for the day to day running of the company
• Supports operations and administration of the Board by advising and informing Board members, interfacing between Board and staff
• Oversees design, marketing, promotion, delivery and quality of programs, products and services
• Recommends yearly budget for Board approval and manages organization's resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations
• Effectively manages the human resources of the organization according to authorized personnel policies and procedures that fully conform to current laws and regulations
• Formulates policies and planning recommendations to the Board
• Decides or guides courses of action in operations by staff
• Formulates and implements plans
• Manages human resources of organization
• Manages financial and physical resources
Requirements
• Previous experience in the same or similar role
• Board level experience
• Candidates will have to have a proven track record in the management of lottery companies with an emphasis on start-ups
• A business or similar degree is desirable with an MBA or similar professional qualification preferred.
• Previous work experience in Africa preferable
• Excellent communication skills and Public Relations skills and experience
• Strong leadership skills with a successful track record of leading teams in a multicultural environment
